Flagstaff Pro Rodeo 2018

June 28, 2018 through June 30, 2018

The Flagstaff Pro Rodeo is gearing up for our 5th annual event! We are a PRCA sanctioned rodeo featuring bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, team roping, steer wrestling, tie-down roping, barrel racing and bull riding. Our rodeo is held in the tall ponderosa pines at the Coconino County Fort Tuthill grandstands on the last weekend of June each year. We offer three evening performances, so everyone can enjoy the show under the dark sky of Northern Arizona. Bright lights, excitement and near perfect temperatures grace the rodeo grounds in Flagstaff Arizona.

We hope to see you around the arena this summer enjoying one of Flagstaff's most anticipated events of the year!

In 2017, Flagstaff Pro Rodeo was the proud recipient of the Justin Boots Best Footing Award WPRA for the Most Improved Ground. Countless hours went into perfecting the ground conditions for the contestant's safety and performance. In March we received a phone call from Cowboys and Indians magazine with the news we were named one of the Top 5 Rodeo's to attend in the United States! It was quite an honor and something we will work hard to keep going!

It takes over 40 dedicated and hardworking team members to put on the Flagstaff Pro Rodeo each year. Nearly 9,000 rodeo fans pass through our gates, over 300 contestants, 50 vendors, and 20 rodeo queens. It costs approximately $150,000 to produce an event of such caliber. We have the support of over 50 sponsors each year and we graciously thank them for believing in us.

Rodeo Queen

The role of a rodeo queen is a female representative that serves as the "face" of the sport of rodeo, and an advocate for the western lifestyle. The Flagstaff Pro Rodeo Queen and Teen Queen travels to PRCA rodeos around the state of Arizona and within the Turquoise Circuit. She is a representative, spokeswoman, and an ambassador for western heritage and good values while educating the public about the rodeo world, particularly that of the PRCA. She is a role model for young children, demonstrating good character and integrity. When competing for the title of a rodeo queen the contestant will be scored on her skills relating to horsemanship, public speaking, knowledge about Rodeo and current events, appearance, and personality. We invite you to consider applying to be the 2018 Miss Flagstaff Pro Rodeo Queen or Teen Queen!
